Beginning in March of 2018, DREAR began uploading music to Soundcloud featuring heavily distorted vocals and production. He is now known for his unique aggressive yet soft vocal delivery.

When asked where the name “DREAR” came from, he said “I thought of the name after I made my first song, I wanted something that sounded strong & something that I associated with at the time.”
