HYD is the moniker of Hayden Dunham, an American visual and performance artist. She initially started her foray into music with the 2014 QT project, serving as the project’s face and the fictional brand’s representative. Notably, however, she did not provide the track’s vocals.

Dunham performed at various DJ sets and live events over the next seven years, and occasionally previewed her original music at venues such as MOMA PS1 and Brooklyn’s Elsewhere. At some point, Dunham officially signed to A. G. Cook’s PC Music label, and provided guest vocals on several of Cook’s 2020 releases.

Her debut EP as HYD is expected for release in late 2021.
