I tried to write a song about a flower
Each time my pen touched the page your presence filled the room
A warm embrace
And sometimes cold
Like petals spiraling on a rose each stanza written was replaced with a thought of you
Whenever I wished to admire the flowers
You paralleled them at every stroke
Like how the sunflower planted in the shade extends its body to reach even the slighest beam of light
Just to show the world its smile
Letting everything and everyone around it know that it was there to stay
And to make the world a more beautiful place
But even the sunflower wilts
