Gasolin' was a Danish rock group that existed from 1969-78, led by the late Kim Larsen. At the formation, Kim was backed by band members Wili Jønsson, Franz Beckerlee, and Bjørn Uglebjerg, with the latter being replaced by Søren Berlev in 1971.

The band achieved massive national success in the late 60s and 70s, which gave them the courage to try their luck in the USA in the mid-70s, which ultimately was not successful.

Gasolin' was characterized by conflicts throughout their existence - especially the relationship between lead singer Kim and guitarist Franz was very tense, but it is said to have been a significant factor in the group's success.

However, it was the disagreements among the members and the failed USA venture that led to the downfall of Gasolin', who disbanded in 1978.
