MAD JAMIE is a punk rock idol group that burst onto the scene in early 2021 and quickly gained a strong following. The group made their debut on April 29, 2021, captivating audiences with their high-energy performances and rebellious spirit.

Formed as the successor group to MAD VIOLET, MAD JAMIE quickly made a name for themselves with their unique sound and style. The group drew inspiration from the British punk band "The Sex Pistols," infusing their music with a raw and edgy vibe.

Known for their bold and unapologetic attitude, MAD JAMIE's handle and catchphrase, "Kawaii wa fxxk," which translates to "cute is fxxk," perfectly encapsulates their rebellious ethos. The group's 4-member line-up garnered a dedicated fan base, but on January 24, 2023, it was announced that this line-up would be coming to an end on March 7, 2023.

However, MAD JAMIE was not finished yet. Kanjosen Akubi took the reins as the sole member of MAD JAMIE, continuing to push boundaries and defy expectations.

While MAD JAMIE primarily operates in Tokyo, Japan, Kanjosen Akubi expanded their horizons in July 2023 with exclusive performances in Sweden. This international venture was just the beginning, as Kanjosen Akubi is set to return to Europe in May 2024 for a tour through Norway, Sweden, and Italy.
