Jaqueline Simão, better known as Quelynah (born September 6, 1981 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian R&B and hip-hop singer.

Quelynah was born in the favela of Heliópolis. Singing since 1996, in 2001, she began her professional career, being hired as backing vocals for singer Alexandre Pires and managed to leave Heliópolis, in 2002, she was a finalist on the reality show Popstars, responsible for creating the group Rouge and Br'oZ.

In 2006, she starred in the film and series “Antônia” alongside Cindy Mendes, Leilah Moreno and Negra Li, which also spawned a soundtrack album that sold over 50,000 copies in Brazil, being certified Gold by ABPD, boosted by the hit single “Antonia”.

In 2007, she released her debut solo album “Quelynah”, which sold around 11,000 copies, and received positive reviews. In the same year, Quelynah ended his 8-year marriage to rapper Thaíde, with whom he had a daughter, called Mayah, the same name as Quelynah’s character in the film and series “Antônia”.
