Biography
Originally starting in 2009 as BsGirls, BsGravity is a dance and vocal unit serving as the cheer team for the Nippon Professional Baseball (Japanese Professional Baseball) team Orix Buffaloes, who primarily play in Osaka, Japan.
Despite being active as a cheer group in 2009, the unit debuted as an official girl group in 2014, consisting of 14 girls under avex, with the single Diamond. After 18 singles, and 10 years, the group would rebrand under the new name BsGravity, alongside the debut of new members, four of which consist of male members. With the rebrand, the team would also split as BsGirls and BsGuys, releasing separate music of as their own units. They are the first mixed performance group in the entire NPB.
Over the years, the group has gone through a significant number of member debuts and departures, but as of 2024, the members include Nui, Hiyori, Yukari, Hinata, Maho, Ayaka, Saaya, Yuika, Fana, Ryuto, Junki, Ibuki, Kotaro, and U-ki/Yuki.
