Full Name: Anahit Artenyan Babayan
Artistic Name: ANAHIT
She was born on September 6, 1987 in Armenia (Yerevan) into a family of musicians.
She is a pop singer, independent artist and composer living in Spain.
Her beginnings were when she was 10 years old, in the Church of the town of Yexegnadzor, a small village in Armenia where she spent part of her childhood growing up surrounded by animals until she was 15.
Her maternal grandmother (Varsik Babayan) played a very important role in the life of the artist, as she was the woman who raised her with her older sister and 2 younger brothers.
Shortly after moving to Granada (Spain) with her family, she resumed her studies after studying the Spanish language in 4 months and began her professional career in the world of music when she was 18 years singing in groups and orchestras.
At the age of 25 with a lot of effort and work, she released her first Album “Feel the Music”. The Album contains a total of 11 songs reflecting two worlds among which she was grown up and from which she has nurtured her voice. Some of that cultural diversity translates into some disco tracks reflected in the eyes of the singer as she composes all her songs.
Since then she hasn´t stopped working and has many themes released in several languages.
At the age of 27 she began singing in the shows and musicals of Theater on cruise ships such as “Pullmantur, Msc and Costa”.
She speaks 5 languages: Spanish, Armenian, Russian, English and Italian."
