Foxing
Foxing is an eminent presence in the indie music scene, hailing from St. Louis, Missouri. Often veering into alternative and math-rock territories, the band has uniquely characterized their sound as "post-good." The ensemble consists of the talented musicians Conor Murphy, Josh Coll, Ricky Sampson, Jon Hellwig, and Eric Hudson. Although in December 2017, fans felt a poignant shift when founding member and bass guitarist Josh Coll parted ways with the band to delve into the realm of filmmaking.

The band's journey in the music world began to take shape in 2012 with the release of an EP entitled "Old Songs." Demonstrating their collaborative spirit, Foxing expanded their discography in 2013 with two split EPs. One was a creative intertwinement with Japanese Breakfast, a solo musical project of Michelle Zauner, and the other was in conjunction with Send Away Stranger, carving out a unique sound space in the indie music tapestry.

November 12, 2013, marked a significant milestone for Foxing with the release of their first full-length album, "The Albatross," which solidified their place in the indie music world. Continuing their musical expedition, "Dealer," their second record, graced the ears of their eager audience on October 30, 2015. Foxing continued to evolve and challenge the bounds of their genre with their third record, "Nearer My God," which was unveiled on August 10, 2018.

Each record unfolds a new chapter in Foxing's artistic saga, drawing listeners into intimate lyrical narratives and complex soundscapes. With each strum, beat, and melody, Foxing pens their biography, defined by poignant exits, prodigious collaborations, and a relentless pursuit to create music that resonates beyond the conventional limits of genre labels.
