Luke Sital-Singh, a British singer-songwriter, was born and raised in the small south west London town of New Malden, which has a rich musical history as the birthplace of John Martyn and Jamie Woon. Growing up as the youngest of three brothers, Luke was surrounded by music and encouraged to embrace musical instruments from a young age.

Drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen, Luke Sital-Singh has been able to carve out his own unique sound and style. Performing Rice's songs at gigs helped Luke hone his craft and develop his own musical identity.

Reflecting on his musical beginnings, Luke Sital-Singh acknowledges the impact that Damian Rice had on his early development as an artist. While he may have moved on from listening to Rice's music regularly, he still holds a deep appreciation for the album O as a significant starting point in his musical journey.
