Clairo
Clairo, born Claire E. Cottrill on August 18, 1998, is an American singer-songwriter hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. She spent her early years in Atlanta before moving to Bellevue, Washington and later settling in Carlisle, Massachusetts.

In 2014, Clairo released her first EP titled Do U Wanna Fall In Love?. However, it was her song "Pretty Girl" that catapulted her to fame in 2017, quickly going viral and garnering widespread attention. This early success paved the way for her first full-length album, Immunity, which was released in 2019.

Clairo's musical influences are deeply rooted in her upbringing, with her parents playing a significant role in shaping her tastes. Her father, Geoff Cottrill, a marketing executive, introduced her to artists like Al Green, while her mother, Allie E. Cottrill, a photographer, exposed her to the music of Cocteau Twins. These diverse influences can be heard in Clairo's unique and captivating sound.

With her heartfelt lyrics, dreamy melodies, and ethereal vocals, Clairo has established herself as a rising star in the indie music scene. Her introspective songwriting and genuine vulnerability have resonated with fans around the world, solidifying her status as one of the most promising young artists of her generation.
