Deadsy was an alternative metal band that originated in Los Angeles, California in 1995. The band was known for its unique concept of each member being represented by a different color, nickname, and entity. The band's founder, Elijah Blue Allman, who is the son of famous musicians Cher and Greg Allman, was symbolized by the entity Academia, the color International Klein Blue, and the nickname Phillips Exeter Blue I. Other members of the band took on the personas of grey-war, green-leisure, yellow-science/medicine, and red/black-horror.

Deadsy released three studio albums during their career, with their first self-titled album featuring many songs that were carried over to their second album, Commencement. The band garnered support from alternative metal pioneers such as Jonathan Davis of Korn and Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit.

After the release of their third album, Phantasmagore, in 2006, Deadsy went on hiatus. Despite their absence from the music scene in recent years, the band left a lasting impact on the alternative metal genre with their unique and innovative approach to music. Fans continue to hold out hope for a possible reunion or new music from Deadsy in the future.
