André Tanneberger, known by his stage name ATB, was born on February 26, 1973 in Freiberg, Saxony, East Germany. He is a German DJ, musician, and producer of electronic dance music. Tanneberger gained international fame with his 1999 single “9 PM (Till I Come)” which topped the charts in the United Kingdom.

Before pursuing a solo career as ATB, Tanneberger had been part of a band for several years. In 1998, he decided to start his own project and released his first track under the name ATB, “9 PM (Till I Come)”, which was included in the album Movin' Melodies. The track featured a distinctive guitar riff that became a signature sound of his early hits.

Over the years, ATB's musical style has evolved and changed, incorporating more vocals and varied sounds, including frequent use of pianos. Despite these changes, he continues to be a prominent figure in the electronic dance music scene, consistently releasing new music and performing at festivals and concerts around the world.
