The AC's buzzing in room one-twelve
I'm at a motel table all by myself
As a sirens howling on the wind
At the cheapest room in town, San Marcos Inn
Where the twenty-four hour emergency
Patient entrance brightly gleams
Right out my window, in the building next door
I see a man wheeled in on a stretcher board
So I pull my blinds, I leave one undrawn
'Til a pinkish fog of red neon
Shows on my ceiling, as a lightning thread
Casts my shadow all over my bed
Two yelling strangers in a Spanish tongue
They're in thе room next door, and they're making lovе
As a baby's crying, and ain't getting no sleep
In a dry sink bed on a cotton sheet
And I'm a long way from home
And have little to say
Just this spooky little picture as my memory fades
What good is travelin', is it really so
But only needing one more, place to go

And tomorrow begins
