Calvin "Cal" Scruby was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and at the age of 25, has already made a name for himself in the music industry. Starting his career in 2011 with the release of his single "Best Foot Forward", Scruby has been steadily climbing the ranks of the rap scene. He has had the opportunity to work with notable artists such as Chris Brown and Reddman, showcasing his talent and versatility as a musician.

In 2018, Scruby signed with Riveting Entertainment Group, becoming their first music based client. However, he later made the decision to venture into the independent music scene where he found even greater success. In May of 2019, he released his first full length album as an independent artist, which was well received by fans and critics alike.

Following the success of his debut album, Scruby released his second full length album titled WYWS (While You Were Sleeping) in July of 2020. The album features 17 tracks, each showcasing Scruby's incredible lyrical prowess and unique style. Tracks such as "Bad Guy", "Donnie Darko", and "Chess Not Checkers" have solidified Scruby's place in the industry as a rising star with a promising future.

With an impressive work ethic and a dedication to his craft, Cal Scruby shows no signs of slowing down. As he continues to release new music and connect with audiences through his powerful lyrics and catchy beats, it is clear that he is a force to be reckoned with in the world of hip hop.
