Bazanji, an American hip-hop artist of Kurdish descent, was born in the UK but raised in North Carolina before eventually settling in Miami, Florida. His journey into the music industry began while he was pursuing a degree in dentistry, as his passion for creating music started to take precedence over his studies. After graduating, Bazanji made the bold decision to pursue music full-time, a choice that has since proven to be successful.

With over 200 million streams to his name, Bazanji has been independently carving his path in the music industry. Before delving into hip-hop, he gained musical experience as a drummer in various rock bands, showcasing his versatility as an artist.

In November 2017, Bazanji independently released his debut album titled Mixed Feelings, which quickly gained recognition and climbed to #13 on the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap chart. The album has since amassed over 30 million streams, solidifying his place in the music scene.

The following year, Bazanji experienced a major breakthrough with his single "Runnin'," which was featured on prominent platforms such as ESPN SportsCenter, College Football, and NBA. This exposure helped propel his music career to new heights, setting the stage for his continued success.

In early 2020, Bazanji released his second album, OUTLIER, further showcasing his talent and unique sound. As an independent artist, he takes pride in maintaining creative control over his work, overseeing tasks such as writing, mixing, mastering, and occasional production.
