Eazy-E, born Eric Lynn Wright on September 7th, 1964, was a pioneering figure in the world of rap music. Growing up in Compton, California, Eazy-E became involved in the street life, which ultimately led to him adopting his stage name. He was also a member of the Kelly Park Compton Crips gang.

In 1986, Eazy-E used the money he had earned from his illicit activities to co-found the record label Ruthless Records with his manager Jerry Heller. This venture proved to be highly successful, with Eazy-E's own group, N.W.A, being one of the label's first signings. N.W.A's controversial track "Fuck Tha Police" brought them national attention, but also drew the ire of the FBI.

One of the defining moments of Eazy-E's career was his feud with Dr. Dre, another member of N.W.A. The two artists clashed over contract disputes and personal grievances, with Eazy-E frequently referencing Dre in his music following their falling out.

Tragically, Eazy-E's life was cut short on March 26, 1995, when he passed away from complications related to HIV/AIDS. His death sent shockwaves through the music industry, and fans mourned the loss of a true innovator.

Despite his untimely passing, Eazy-E's impact on rap music continues to be felt to this day. He played a pivotal role in launching the careers of several prominent artists, including will.i.am, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and Above The Law. Eazy-E's legacy as a trailblazer in the world of hip-hop remains firmly intact, ensuring that his influence will be remembered for generations to come.
