Forgiveness, a request, a touch, far beyond innocence
In a moment, detest, caressed, comforting songs to sing
Unaware of a stare, an approach, moved too close
And stood helpless and watched it spread its wings

Creature of the air, torn between flight and pleasure
Dragging out the effort, murdering the time
Confined to the sky, to a cage, love can't be measured

Betrayal stains, darker than blood
While salvation finds its next victim
