The homo sapiens is an interesting creature
Bipedally striding onward, face still turned up to the stars
With tools equipped for subjugating all of nature
Abhorrence is waiting dormant in this species of ours
Face the lowest form of man
Some specimens of the simian can perceive
The true nature of our cosmos, all that slithers, teems and breathes
The lowest form however such heights never can achieve
It copiеs and follows, denies, drops eavеs
Choking on its wealth, it is fearful of all change
For it worries that could mean that it soon would have to share
All what from it differs it perceives to be strange
What populists use to deceive and ensnare
That is their method, simple answers for the oafish
Claiming those who lived here longer deserve more than foreigners
Unempathetic, greedy, addled, dull and selfish
Substituting with its homeland its lack of a character
Fills up the spaces of that which it doesn’t understand
Confabulating stories, then wedging all things inside
Striving for more, but every time finding out it can’t
From society’s progress in the masses it now hides
The knowledge that it took to edify all that
The cities and engines of the ape employ
Misconstrued in its greed and at
Every chance only used to destroy
Cherry-picks which it for its purposes can
Use, the rest it will gladly deny
Its dwindling privilege surfaces, then
The public consensus it will defy
Taking many a form, from false healers to priests
Executives, saints, demagogic leaders
Abnegating how they evolved from the beasts
Hybris dwells in offended believers
On all that’s wrong it perpetually feasts
We’ll have to cleanse ourselves of that filth that takes the form of man
Teach it that it's wrong, vote it out, ban its lies and
Let it maul itself, open its children’s eyes
The only way for humanity’s ascent
Will be stripping itself of the false that subtend
Assimilating them through education
A futile endeavour or the path to redemption?
So, to conclude, it is our solemn obligation
To from this all our communion cut out democracy’s foes
Bring here the scalpel, a society’s ablation
Ere our treaty with nature we unawares foreclose
