There's a spot on the couch for you

I ain't know then, but I know now
I'll follow these steps that you thread

Whole world still falls with you gone
Trees too tall, and days too long
Spots of light in the corners of my mind
I feel the space that you left behind

There's a room in my house for you
It's so quiet, my door never opens
The family group chat is proof
That mom never loved me quite as much as you
I had to get out, you’ll understand
Small town livin’ just wasn't the plan
The world’s too big, and this house too small
I'll come home as much as I can

I really just left that mess, atleast nobody stealin’ food off your plate
