Amber Bain, known by her stage name The Japanese House, is a 24-year-old London-based musician who has been making waves in the music industry with her unique blend of alternative pop, dreamlike creativity, and brooding, futuristic sentiments. Influenced by artists such as James Blake, SOHN, Bon Iver, and Fleetwood Mac, Bain's music has been described as spellbinding electropop.

In 2015, The Japanese House released her first single, "Pools To Bathe In," which was the title track of an EP produced by Bain herself, as well as Matthew Healy and George Daniel of The 1975. This collaboration led to her signing with Dirty Hit Records, based in West London. The following year, she released the EP "Clean," with the title track premiering on Beats 1 Radio with Zane Lowe.

Continuing to build on her success, The Japanese House released her third EP, "Swim Against The Tide," in 2016, featuring singles such as "Face Like Thunder" and "Good Side In." In 2017, she released her fourth EP, "Saw You in a Dream," which included the titular track along with three other singles.

With her haunting vocals, mesmerizing melodies, and introspective lyrics, The Japanese House continues to captivate audiences and establish herself as a rising star in the music industry.
