The trouble with these days
Is they go by far too quick. Spending time, wasting time
And the days I don’t waste are spent ignoring you

These days are patterns and
We fall comfortable into letting them roll by
It is so easy to watch them go

Counting down the moments till the days are over
Starting over again. It might take a little while

The trouble I’m having
Is I can’t see where these days
Are going. Placing all my hope in days
