Somebody should've taught me how to deal

& it took a lot of time to hit the ground
With time am reminded how you stayed and held it down
Lately I don’t seem to catch a thrill
All my thoughts are overwhelming (they overwhelm me)
Hoping that someday we get to meet
Get to tell you about my life, how I wished you stayed alive coz

I pictured you would find love, & rid of all those burdens off your shoulder
Get yourself a house on the hill, & hope to see your grandkids come over
& every time I'd visit, we'd gossip, reminisce bout the old times
And all these moments they would last, until you are grey & you get older

Hoping that at least
