Ricky Montgomery, born on April 3, 1993, in Los Angeles, California, is a talented musician known for his soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics. Growing up, music was always a big part of his life, with his father working as a gaffer in the film industry and his mother being a teacher. In 2005, Ricky moved to St. Louis with his mother and it was there that he began his musical journey.

At the young age of 14, Ricky started playing in bands around West St. Louis County, honing his skills and developing his unique sound. Before venturing into his solo career, he was a part of several local bands in St. Louis, including Adversary In Arms, Carpathia, and Henry On The Run.

Ricky's big break came when he gained popularity on the now-defunct social media platform Vine. His captivating vocals and raw talent caught the attention of many, leading him to release his debut EP, Caught On The Moon, in the summer of 2014. The EP received positive feedback from fans and critics alike, propelling Ricky further into the spotlight.
