Existence is just a worthless game of politics
“What is a country but a life sentence?”
Settling around you, a cowl of regret
None allowed in but none allowed to leave
A nation born as a massive walled city
A prefixed phobia, shouldering the blame
Told the reflection is why it went this way
Every good person is one bad thing away from ending it
And every healthy one is a scare away from inescapable debt
And every othered one is an act away from trauma or death
As any attempt to better your life is met with volatile contempt
But today I must be grateful for what the lord hath given me
A severe mental disorder and a population where a large portion would like to kill me
No rights to not be born but, after, complete denial of life, love, and liberty
Just consider the mass shootings, queer bashings, and genocides all late term abortions
That way the victory we receive is just absolutely fucking enormous
Blown away by the necessary mental gymnastics to endure anything even remotely like this
Existence is just a game of politics, and what is a country but a fucking life sentence?
Nothing that I could say will change the course of the future
But i will try to voice the repercussions of the pressure
When you're subsumed by fear of awful scenarios
From being brutalized in every place that you call home
I may not be the hand that shifts the universe
But I will still be a rat baring all of my teeth
At every possible chance of something I can’t rehearse
Until I turn my face to the wind and cut the world as it has cut me
I will bite all the hands whether holding poison or feed
I will infect every one as I writhe and bleed
The axe will keep forgetting till the tree makes it remember
A life is worth so much more than the current cost of lumber
I have found voice, no need for a body
Physically detached and thus unrestrainable
Something free from the restraints of law in order
To properly dispose of rigidity
To tyrants of the world, acceptance is uncompromising
Unflinching and aggressively radical
There will be no photos, no grace left to share and I'll
Take all of you before I take out myself
