Maitreya Williams the 2nd, formely known as Riven is a Houston Texas based artist known for his cryptic mystique and dark style.
Riven’s dad who was also rapper in his youth going by the name of ‘'Big Shang’‘, inspired Riven get into Hip-Hop and Rap music.
Riven officialy started his music carrer in 2013 with his first release being on SoundCloud under the name of ’‘Blade’‘.
In his songs, Riven often talks about his technique to make money and the sacrifices he had to make to get where he is today.
Riven started getting bigger numbers in 2017, 2018 and 2019 with releases like run it up!, dash, highways!, robin! and many more.
After many years since Riven started his journey in the music industry, now he has switched to a more experimental and electronic rap.
