You know, recently I learned that in the myth of Icarus, he flew too close to the Sun, but it wasn't the Sun that killed him, but it was that it melted the glue that held his feathers on, and he fell and drowned in the ocean. In some ways, I see this as a kind of metaphor sort of antonymic of the Phoenix. Icarus triеd to escape his past and flew to thе stars, but the stars weren't what he thought they were, and he had died exactly where he started
I just hope I don't do the same
