Blue is an English boy band that first burst onto the music scene in 2001. The band is made up of members Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan, and Simon Webbe. Their debut single, "All Rise", was a massive hit and was followed by other successful songs such as "Too Close", "If You Come Back", and "Fly By II". Their debut album, All Rise, debuted at number 1 in the UK.

Despite facing some media backlash due to member Lee Ryan's controversial comments regarding the September 11 attacks, Blue continued to achieve chart success with their follow-up albums One Love (2002) and Guilty (2003). However, in 2005, the band decided to take a break.

Blue later reunited in 2009 and represented the UK at Eurovision in 2011, coming in 11th place with the song "I Can". In 2013, the band participated in the ITV2 show The Big Reunion alongside other popular pop bands from the 1990s and 2000s. This led to the release of their fourth album, Roulette, which did not perform as well on the charts as their previous albums.

In 2015, Blue released their fifth album, Colours, which also had a peak chart position of number 13. Unfortunately, this led to the band being dropped by their record label, Sony Music. Undeterred, Blue began recording their sixth studio album in 2017, showing that they are still dedicated to making music and connecting with their fans.
