We disavowed the signs of gathering grief

Two dirging souls on life's corrugations
Weeping, sobbing, sick of lifetime
Bashful the one, calm and gentle
Ruthless the other, daft and insane
Unable to agree

But heir own inaptitude crossed their plans of glory
