Wells where we once gathered to quell our endless thirst
I’ve searched for a place, a peace I cannot describe
Feeling somber, tranquility
Relaxed, bliss here lies
Ancestral utopia is?
I cannot say for sure
I imagine, I’ve drifted there
From time to time I catch the fleeting things out of the corner of my eye
I know them for certain
Inspiration I’ve never known, but have always felt
The presence enveloping me
Deserted as the forest in the grip
December seems lifeless and bleak
Though she is timeless and radiant
In the inner glow of secular peace I am molting into the natural flow
Finding pieces to the twisted puzzle
The fog is parting in favor; the sun
These elements of nature, water over the rocks
I sense like the composition of the galaxy
Always aloft, yet always underfoot
Inside the sacred elements guarded by hope and trust
Every mistake I’ve learned from I made
No one else can do this for me
Nor could they see their own hand in front of their face
Having become callused to believe
Everything is dismal and done
I find the dew on the morning flowers
More entertaining than yesterdays’ re-run movie
Once taken in and digested
Knowledge is unleashed
To never perish or wither
Until all life ends
Revealing in the broad canopy of heaven
Above me the giant arms of the forests trees
The final abiding place of all things that grew
Not requiring many words to speak the truth
Knowledge is inherent in all living things
My books are writings made of wind, grass, and animals
A mans’ heart way from nature becomes hard
I suckle close to nature’s soft influence
Pour forth the melody from the thick brush around me
Here in the unbroken chain of the forest
Clinging close to these aromatic boughs and branches
Pour forth the melody
“Continue to contaminate your own bed, you will one night suffocate in your own waste”*
High in the mist enshrouded peaks
Glacier water turns into creeks
Life bearing capillaries span across the plain
Delivering life bringing fluids
These arteries are now all polluted
Sad, our profound sweeping melody
Pour forth the end of humanity
