Thorgan est né et a grandi en Scandinavie au sein d'une famille artistique. Il a développé une passion pour la musique dès son plus jeune âge. Ayant grandi entouré de musique classique, de ballet et d'opéra, Thorgan a posé les bases de son propre son. Il a commencé son parcours dans la chorale de garçons Cantores Minores, a été le chanteur principal d'un groupe de rock et a pris des cours de piano dès son adolescence. À l'âge de 15 ans, Thorgan a découvert le R&B et la production musicale, ce qui l'a conduit à produire et à sortir son premier single AM. Depuis lors, Thorgan a sorti de nombreux singles et son premier album Tenebris. Désormais basé à Paris, Thorgan repousse les frontières entre le R&B, le rock, la musique classique et électronique. Son son peut être décrit comme sombre, mélancolique, romantique et unique.
