Demetria Devonne "Demi" Lovato was born on August 20, 1992, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. From a young age, Lovato showed a talent for singing and acting, and began her career as a child actor in the popular television show "Barney & Friends."

In 2008, Lovato rose to fame as a starring cast member in the Disney Channel original movie "Camp Rock." That same year, she signed with Hollywood Records and released her debut studio album, "Don't Forget," which was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Throughout her career, Lovato has released a total of seven studio albums, including "Here We Go Again," "Unbroken," "Demi," "Confident," "Tell Me You Love Me," and most recently, "Dancing with the Devil...The Art of Starting Over."
