Ashton Nicole Casey, known by her stage name Ashnikko, was born on February 19, 1996, in Oak Ridge, North Carolina. Growing up in an ultra-conservative environment, she was exposed to country music and occasional Slipknot records. However, her rebellious and creative nature led her to pursue a career in music, drawing inspiration from feminist icons like M.I.A., Björk, and Nicki Minaj.

At the age of thirteen, Ashnikko's parents moved to Estonia and then Latvia, where she spent most of her teen years. It was during this time that she began exploring her musical talents, starting with a diss track about a classmate over Lil Kim's "Black Friday" beat. Upon reaching adulthood, Ashnikko moved to London, where she embraced a wild party lifestyle and continued to hone her craft.

In 2016, Ashnikko uploaded her first song "KROKODIL" to SoundCloud, marking the beginning of her music career. She has since released two solo EPs, Hi, It's Me and Unlikeable, as well as a collaborative EP Sass Pancakes with Raf Riley. Through her music, Ashnikko has explored themes of sexuality and female empowerment, standing up for women in and out of the music industry.

One of Ashnikko's most popular songs, "STUPID" featuring Yung Baby Tate, gained viral success on TikTok, accumulating over two million posts and reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Bubbling Under Charts. Despite facing backlash and bullying for her unique style and outspoken nature, Ashnikko remains true to herself and continues to make music that empowers women and challenges societal norms.
