Tyler Brooks (born August 31, 2000), known professionally as skaiwater (also known as Young Skai), is a rapper reigning from the United Kingdom.

Skai got into music through his father, when he was taught to use FL Studios when he was eight years old. He would then start to posting music in 2018, through his SoundCloud page. He released his debut EP, Black on September 21. That same year, he also collaborated with the then up-and-coming rapper Lil Nas X, on the track “No Love.”

Throughout the span of 2019 and 2020, Skai has released a slew of EP’s and singles. Skai started to gain some media attention when he released the track “Blakehomie.” He would continue to find some success in 2021, when he was featured on the track “Black Hole Sun,” featuring Jonah Zed and Patrick Cc:. That same year, he released his debut mixtape, Happy Hour, a short EP titled Mari, and another EP titled i dont miss her at all.

In 2022, Skai started to gain more attention through the platform TikTok, where two of his songs “#miles” and “eyes” started to blow up through the platform.
