Upon a Burning Body is an American Heavy metal band hailing from San Antonio, Texas. Formed in 2005, the band has quickly risen to prominence in the metal scene with their intense live performances and powerful music.

The band consists of vocalist Danny Leal, guitarist Ruben Alvarez, bassist Rey Martinez, and drummer Tito Felix. Together, they have created a unique sound that blends elements of metalcore, deathcore, and groove metal.

Upon a Burning Body released their second studio album, Red. White. Green., in 2012, which debuted at No. 105 on the Billboard 200. The album received critical acclaim for its aggressive sound and powerful lyrics.

Their third studio album, The World Is My Enemy Now, was released on August 12, 2014, and performed even better, debuting at No. 39 on the Billboard 200. The album showcased the band's growth and maturity as musicians, solidifying their place in the metal scene.
