Sweet Lizzy Project is a Cuban-born, Nashville-based rock band known for their high-energy live shows and unique blend of classic American rock and Latino flair. Fronted by the powerful vocals of Lisset Diaz, the band’s sound is described as catchy pop-rock with a touch of indie and a whole lot of heart.

The group started as a collaboration between Diaz, a biochemist with a passion for songwriting, and Miguel Comas, a talented guitarist and producer. Together they built the band piece by piece, adding Wilfredo Gatell (bass, guitar, and keyboards), and Angel Luis Millet (drums) to complete their sound.

Their big break came through a PBS appearance on “Havana Time Machine,” which caught the eye of veteran musician Raul Malo. Impressed by their talent, Malo helped them land in Nashville, the heart of American country music, where they’ve been building their reputation ever since.

Sweet Lizzy Project’s music reflects their diverse backgrounds, with songs in English that touch on themes of perseverance, following your dreams, and their Cuban heritage. They’ve garnered international attention and continue to win over audiences with their electrifying performances.
