In order to be forgiven
I have to look within
It started when i was a child
I was wild
I was in pain
I had problems with my own brain
My sister, mom, and dad
I always sad
Depressed in walls
From grace he falls
When mom and dad fought
I was taught
Insanity
And vanity
So i tried to find the answer
In a dancer
For she whispered a secret
And you will never hear it
It just made sense
And i was kept in suspense
When i was younger my friend lost his life in a car
And to this day it hurts me with my heart in there a scar
I lost my grandma who raised me
Of her image i long to be
And now i am a broken mess
But i do not wish to be depressed
My name is jeremiah and i'm a prophet
I see the end coming and it's my job to call it
For my sins, i repent
I will not get taken by the serpent
This is my test
This is my quest
To let her go
I wish it wasn't so
For i am an honest man
This was his plan
To show me what is right
Now i see the light
And the lord sets me free
