Waking up this morning, can't help but to thank the Lord
After all these years, He’s been good to me
Words can't express how much I feel inside
Of all the mercies Jesus has shown to me

He put food on the table, He put clothes on my back
He's provided my every need and made a way
All my thanks goes to God for seeing me through
He’s such a good friend to me

God always has been good to me
He's been there for me
He's my help when I need Him most
He's a good father and my best friend

Jesus healed my body and made me whole
Jesus washed all my sins away
In my ever present situation He's always there
Even when I'm down, He's always there
