AKA - Reign ft. Buffalo Soulja

0
Copied!

{AKA}
Yessir
And they say, in the beginning
There will be light
There will be light
And as I walk
I will fear, no evil

{Chorus}
Hustling days are over
Struggling ? no longer
No more living in this world ?
? now you know the
Rain is gone, rain is gone
I can see the rainbow
Now that the rain is over

{Verse 1}
This rap shit used to be fun, just look what I've become
The weight from everybody expectation weigh a ton
Fire blazing in my lungs, impatient with the funds
African renaissance, I unite the nations like a nun
From a placе where getting papеr’s a basic rule of thumb
Pushing pace like a dolphin shape, cruising through the slums
This is the making of a legend
Everybody bow, face down in my presence
Sharp fade, barbershop blade cut the edges
Dark shades, never see a thing when I step in
Critics take aim where my neck is
Plenty young thangs with fresh Marais stains on they dresses
You nothing till they kill you
Look at my grave then look in my rearview
They build careers off my name
I did it for the belt, never did it for the wealth
Now we dropping knowledge like we knocking books off the shelf
Do for self, made something out of nothing like MacGyver
Gotta keep eyes on my rands and my naira
Left on my nuts, right hand on my bible
One night stand could be that ? you die for

{Chorus}
Hustling days are over
Struggling ? no longer
No more living in this world ?
? now you know the
Rain is gone, rain is gone
I can see the rainbow
Now that the rain is all gone

{Verse 2}
Used to be live from the basement
Plenty hard times, we survived on the basics
Many stop signs but the drive need a brake disc
Heart's on my sleeve but the sleeve's where the ace is
Speakers going ape shit, ? going spaceship
Superman trees, put them leaves in rotation
Dreams so close I can taste it
Jeans so low, couple Gs where the waist is
Thinking back, tryna track down where my faith went
Hope I get it back, Lord, running out of patience
Either trap door or heaven’s staircases
Looking up, trying to figure out where the rain went

{Chorus}
Hustling days are over
Struggling ? no longer
No more living in this world ?
? now you know the
Rain is gone, rain is gone
I can see the rainbow
Now that the rain is over

No more hustling and bustling
No more struggling and muscling
No more hustling and bustling
No more struggling and muscling
We doing just fine, we going into the light
We kiss the hustle goodbye
Cos it's the new beginning, still the feeling

{Chorus}
Hustling days are over
Struggling ? no longer
No more living in this world ?
? now you know the
Rain is gone, rain is gone
I can see the rainbow
Now that the rain is over
