Your cold hymn grips me

Their coated fingers
Beckon forth to the air
So I look to the sun

Your warm sin fills me

Peace lies
Death lies
The breeze in your hair
Betrays your vacant stare

Temptress of fate, will you let me rest?
I give and give until there's nothing left

Breaking at the seams
With anger so raw
Pistons of steam
Billow pillars toward the maw

Their sly promises
Seduce me so vividly
So I look at myself
And nothing stares back

Your coldness strikes me like light on gold
As the iron sea holds corpses down below
