Tanner Patrick Howe, known professionally as Tanner Patrick, was born on May 24, 1991 in Los Angeles, California. At the age of 4, his family moved to Dallas, Texas where he would spend most of his childhood. It was in Dallas that Tanner's musical journey truly began when his parents encouraged him to take piano lessons at the age of 5. A year later, he received his first guitar as a Christmas gift and from then on, he was hooked on making music.

By the time Tanner was 10 years old, he was already writing and recording his own music using a Talkboy cassette recorder. His talent and passion for music only grew from there. However, at the age of 17, Tanner faced a health challenge when he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Despite this setback, he didn't let it stop him from pursuing his musical dreams.

In 2008, Tanner co-founded the band Disco Curtis with his longtime friends Garrett Perales and AJ Novak. The band quickly gained popularity and went on to sign with MySpace/Interscope Records after generating buzz on social networking sites. They toured independently and played alongside well-known bands such as Boys Like Girls and Forever The Sickest Kids.

After a successful run with Disco Curtis, Tanner decided to pursue a solo career. In 2010, he moved to Los Angeles to focus on writing and recording new music. It was during this time that he started uploading videos to his YouTube channel, "TannerPatrick", which quickly grew in popularity. His channel now boasts over 1,000,000 subscribers and over 110,000,000 views.

Tanner Patrick is not only a talented singer-songwriter, but also a multi-instrumentalist. He plays acoustic guitar, bass guitar, piano, and various other instruments. Despite facing health challenges and the ups and downs of the music industry, Tanner Patrick has remained dedicated to his craft and continues to inspire fans around the world with his music.
