Chill but kinda sad.

That’s the way that Sophie Allison describes her brand of melancholy bedroom pop that she releases under the name Soccer Mommy on Bandcamp. Allison, a Nashville native, wrote music while in college in New York and independently released a slew of EPs. In 2017, she signed to Fat Possum Records and released Collection, a compilation of some of those songs. On March 2nd, 2018, she released a full-length album titled Clean, containing all-new material. Though Soccer Mommy is still only Allison, she records and tours with lead guitarist Julian Powell, drummer Nick Brown and pianist Gabe Wax.
