Kara's Flowers was a rock band that formed in 1994, with its original members being Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Ryan Dusick, and Mickey Madden. The band met while attending high school in Los Angeles and quickly bonded over their shared love of music.

Kara's Flowers gained a following in the local music scene with their unique sound and energetic live performances. They released their debut album, "We Like Digging?", in 1997, but unfortunately, it failed to make a significant impact.

After the release of their debut album, Kara's Flowers decided to take a break and pursue other interests. During this time, Adam Levine and Jesse Carmichael attended college while Ryan Dusick and Mickey Madden focused on other musical projects.

In 2001, the band reunited and decided to rebrand themselves as Maroon 5. With a new sound and a fresh approach to songwriting, Maroon 5 quickly gained attention and signed a record deal with Octone Records. Their debut album, "Songs About Jane," was released in 2002 and became a massive success, catapulting the band to international stardom.

Since then, Maroon 5 has released multiple hit albums and singles, won numerous awards, and established themselves as one of the most successful and popular bands in the world. Despite their early struggles as Kara's Flowers, the band's journey to success is a testament to their talent, perseverance, and passion for music.
