Almando Alshane Douglas a.k.a Mundo Don is a 2x Grammy nominated musician who hails from from Kingston Jamaica. He describes his style as “like water” while keeping the influences of Dancehall and Reggae. The singer/songwriter and producer has worked with some of Jamaica’s elite creatives, both live and in studio, namely Buju Banton (Upside Down 2020) and Jesse Royal (Royal) who he has received the Grammy nominations for. Mundo Don is a conscious, next-generation dancehall artiste who believes in using music to uplift the spirits of people. Some of his musical influences are Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Fela Kuti, Stevie Wonder and James Brown who too were using music as a vehicle to positively impact people’s lives.
