Dove Cameron, born Chloe Celeste Hosterman on January 15th, 1996, is a talented American singer and actress who rose to fame through her work on Disney Channel shows and movies. With a passion for music and acting from a young age, Dove pursued her dreams and eventually found success in the entertainment industry.

After changing her name to Dove as a tribute to her late father, Dove landed her big break with the Disney Channel pilot Bits and Pieces, which later evolved into the popular series Liv & Maddie. Playing the dual roles of twins Liv and Maddie, Dove showcased her acting skills and quickly became a fan favorite.

Dove's career continued to soar when she was cast as the daughter of Maleficent in Disney's Descendants franchise. The success of the films solidified her status as a rising star in Hollywood, and she reprised her role in the sequels with great success.

In addition to her acting career, Dove was part of a band called The Girl and the Dreamcatcher with her then-boyfriend Ryan McCartan. However, the project disbanded after their breakup, leading Dove to focus on her solo music career.
