Omar Heinstedt, known professionally as SoLonely (born April 7th, 1999) is a singer, songwriter, and producer from Sweden. He is best known for his songs “if i die”, “iusedtolikeyou”“ and “no name”. He began making music in 2016.

On September 26, 2016, SoLonely released his first song, titled “NOI$E”, that currently has 52,700+ plays on SoundCloud and 31,000+ views on YouTube. The song is about loneliness, depression, and trust issues.

On October 16, 2016, “iusedtolikeyou” was released. The song has an emo-vibe. It’s about how SoLonely liked a girl, thought about her a lot, but then ghosted her. It was the first song of his to get a decent amount of attention. It currently has 472,000+ plays on SoundCloud and 220,000+ views on YouTube.

On November 25, 2016, a rapper called lil happy lil sad released a song titled “no name” which featured a verse from SoLonely. The song was never officially uploaded to YouTube, but it was uploaded by a music promotion channel called sad chill. However, it was uploaded by lil happy lil sad on his official SoundCloud account. This song gained popularity fairly quickly. It is currently at 643,000+ plays on SoundCloud and at 2,700,000+ views on sad chill’s YouTube video.

On the Promoting Sounds YouTube channel, the song was uploaded 1 day prior to its SoundCloud release. At the moment, it has 773,000+ plays on SoundCloud and 3,800,000+ views on the Promoting Sounds video.

On November 4th, 2019, the song “Need You” was released. “Need You” marks SoLonely’s return to making music after him not making any for around 9 months. This song was not officially uploaded to SoLonely’s SoundCloud, however, it had a music video on YouTube – which is currently at 200,000+ views.

3 months later, on February 12, 2020, “Dead Flowers” was released. SoLonely then went on a streak making many single songs, one after another – such as “Highkey”, “Muzzle Flash”, and “No Makeup”.

After not posting any music online for 9 months, SoLonely returned on September 10, 2021, with “Gun Me Down”.
