DJ Khaled, the self-proclaimed King of the Anthems, is a multi-talented American musician known for his work as a record producer, DJ, radio personality, record label executive, actor, author, and social media influencer. Born in New Orleans and based out of Miami, Khaled began his career in the music industry as a circuit DJ, hosting shows on the Miami-based radio station WEDR, and serving as the official DJ for the Terror Squad.
Over the years, Khaled has built strong relationships with high-profile artists, leading to the release of his star-studded debut album, Listennn… the Album, in 2006. Since then, he has released a total of nine studio albums, with his tenth project, Grateful, dropping in June 2017. In addition to his music career, Khaled is also the founder of the record label We the Best Music Group, which is currently affiliated with Epic Records.
