GG Allin, born Jesus Christ Allin on August 29th, 1956, in Lancaster, New Hampshire, was an American musician known for his controversial and extreme performances. Allin's career was marked by his wild and unpredictable behavior both on and off stage.

Allin began his music career in the punk rock scene, performing with various bands and releasing albums that garnered attention for their raw and aggressive sound. However, it was his live shows that truly made him infamous. Allin's performances often included shocking acts such as self-mutilation, nudity, and even defecating on stage. He would frequently engage in violent and confrontational behavior towards his audience, leading to numerous arrests and legal troubles.

Despite his controversial reputation, Allin continued to record and release music across different genres, including spoken word, country, and more traditional rock. His lyrics often touched on themes of violence, drug abuse, and nihilism, with frequent expressions of racism and misogyny. Allin's music was characterized by its raw and unpolished production, reflecting his chaotic and rebellious persona.
