Anna Lotterud, known professionally as Anna of the North, is a talented electropop artist hailing from Gjøvik, Norway. Her journey to musical success began while studying in Melbourne, Australia, where she crossed paths with New Zealand producer Brady Daniell-Smith at one of his shows.

Anna and Brady quickly formed a creative partnership and released her debut single "Sway" in 2014, which garnered widespread attention online and ultimately led to record deals with +1 Records/Honeymoon in the US and PIAS’s Different Recordings in the UK. Building on the success of "Sway," Anna and Brady continued to deliver hit after hit, including tracks like "Dreamer," "Baby," and "Us" in 2016.

In interviews, Anna has revealed that her unconventional creative process often stems from sleep deprivation, as she confesses to only sleeping about four hours a week. This lack of sleep leads her to sing lullabies to herself, which she then records and transforms into mesmerizing music.
