Enigma is a musical project that was founded in 1990 by the talented Romanian-German musician and producer, Michael Cretu. Born on May 18, 1957, in Bucharest, Romania, Cretu has always had a passion for music and a desire to create something unique and innovative.
After forming Enigma, Michael recorded the project's first studio album, MCMXC a.D. in 1990.
